Youth and Young Adult Mission Trip – We Need Your Help!
First UMC Youth and Young Adults, along with adult chaperones are partnering with AdventureServe Ministries for a “Home Repair Experience” in Wilmore, Kentucky from July 17 through July 23, 2022. The Home Repair Program has been a part of AdventureServe since its founding in 1980. At the heart of the Home Repair mission is service to part of the Appalachian region. The focus is placed on meeting the basic needs of the elderly, widows, handicapped/disabled, single parents, and low-income families.
This mission experience for the youth and young adults could be the most important thing they do this summer! If you feel led to support us with your donations, we would greatly appreciate it! All donated monies will go directly to the cost of our trip; cost per person for accommodations at AdventureServe, van rental, gas, site fees, etc.
To remit your donation electronically through the FUMC website, click the link “Give Online” and select the Kentucky Mission Trip Donate option.
To remit your donation with a check, make it payable to: FUMC Youth Account (with Kentucky written in the memo) and send it to the church office.
